Editors Notes:
After a long day at work, I love to come home to a simple entertaining game to unwind and relax. This game does that for me. It's got a kind of Rampage meets Super Mario World game feel. You are a dragon that creates destruction against an army of goblins, while collecting your stolen coins throughout the realm. The goblins have surprises waiting to cut your attack short, with exploding barrels and large bomb-strapped goblins. You also have some tricks at your disposal, the ability to jump, fly, breathe fire, instant devastation and flying through structures at supersonic speeds.
The artwork in this game is amazing, which is indeed a reward in itself. The art lends itself to the game atmosphere and gives it a feel of an arcade or home console game. The first thing that pops in my mind is a Nintendo Super Mario World with the gold coins and side scroller action. The neatly architected buildings of the goblins remind me of structures in the Angry Birds series. This game however is unique enough that it is it's own game unlike anything else I have played before. It's all about your attack on the goblins and how far you will progress on your flight to accumulate your wealth.
The game controls are very easy - just tap the screen for a jump and hold your finger on the screen to fly. You will eventually run out of stamina if you try to continuously fly. You need to judge the best circumstances for jumping and flying. As you get angry, you will eventually reach an automated fire breath to compound the damage to your enemies.
When you die, you’re given a summary of all the destruction you’ve caused and the coins that you’ve collected. At this point you may need to purchase an upgrade.
There is a store in which users can customize their dragon's appearance or power up their abilities and players can even customize the dragon den with treasure loot that builds up with their in-game earnings. There are some useful in-app purchases to enhance your gameplay.
This game is definitely recommended to all users. I could easily see a series of these games being developed from this original concept.

Exclusive Interview with the CyclePlay Team:
Q. Tell me a bit about the background behind Cycleplay?:
A. Cycleplay was founded by husband and wife team Van Le and CY Chiu in November 2012. We aim to make simple to play and fun games for everyone to enjoy. The first game we developed as indie developers is the physics-based endless running game Mad Dragon.
Q. What kind of marketing did you do for Mad Dragon?
A. We were focusing on adding features to the game so we didn't do any pre-marketing. We believed if we done a quality game which bring fun to people, people will tell their friends and the game will spread word of mouth. However we are learning on the way. Marketing is still very important for a startup so we currently working to secure more reviews, do advertisements to bring in more audiences. For the moment we are getting many positive feedback. People are coming back everyday to play our game so we do think we are on the right track!
